Rosemary has a beautiful, large kitchen with all equipment required for cooking , plus braai facilities and outside areas to sit and enjoy the views. Ol Thumper is a cosy family studio.

Underberg is situated at the foot of the Sani Pass, in the Southern Drakensberg, which enters into Lesotho; a main attraction to visitors.

Directions

  • From Howick (Exit 99) you travel on the R617 to Underberg - it is 111kms from the Howick turnoff. Travel into Underberg Town and In Main Road Underberg you will find a Spar and a Supaquick. Turn off onto the dirt road running between the Spar and Supaquick, please take the right fork on this dirt road - this is Scottston Road. Follow the road down into the valley passing Mountaineers complex on your right hand side. Carry on down the road into the valley, Gods Haven Estate will be on your right. Cross the bridge over the river and follow the road to the left. There will be a dairy on your right. Travel another 2kms you will see smallholdings on your left and right . Cancellation Policy

  • Check in is strictly 2pm to 7pm only
  • Check out is 10am,
  • We reserve the right to not refund card fees (transaction costs) in the case of cancellations or other situations where funds need to be reversed back to a credit card.
  • The cardholder & ID/Passport must be present at check-in.
  • The credit card used for the online payment must be present at check-in
  • Payment of a deposit constitutes acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
  • A 50% deposit is required to confirm your booking
  • We reserve the right to cancel the reservation should we not receive your deposit timeously.
  • Deposits are non-transferable and subject to the cancellation policy.
  • No refunds for late check-ins or early check-outs.
  • Additional guests over and above the number specified on your invoice are not permitted.
  • Failure to comply with this shall result in your booking being terminated, and you shall be requested to vacate the property immediately. No refunds shall be granted.
  • Guests will be liable for breakages or property damage.
  • There is a no-smoking policy inside the units. You will be liable to a fine of R1 000 should you breach such policy.
  • Indemnity
  • All persons entering the property and using its facilities do so at their own risk. The owners, management, staff or agents of Douglas Drift and Underberg Accommodation (PTY) Ltd shall not be liable for any damage, loss, theft, injury, accidents or death suffered by any person, howsoever caused and whether by negligence or otherwise..
