Directions

• NAAUWPOORT TURN OFF ON R24 : S 25° 51.643” ; E 027° 18.347”
• (It is best to use the Naauwpoort turn off co-ordinates first and then follow the directions below for each of the cottages below. If you use Google or co-ordinates for the farm you will be taken on a different route, which although a bit shorter, has a longer section of gravel and sometimes is a bad road).
• From the town of Magaliesburg proceed as follows:
• Proceed straight through the town on the R24 towards Rustenburg.
• After about 30km turn left at the Naauwpoort Road, also signposted Konka camps. (gravel). ( If you pass between two red & white cell phone towers on the R24 you have gone about 100 m too far). Travel for approximately 5kms on the gravel road & turn left at the Vlakfontein Road. At this turnoff there are signs to Emoyeni, Sikelele & Jacksons Ridge. You are now on the NV road – all properties on this road have a number with the prefix ‘NV’.
• FROM HERE PLEASE ENSURE THAT YOU FOLLOW THE CORRECT DIRECTIONS FOR THE COTTAGE YOU ARE STAYING IN.
• For PUSCHKA FARM (main house & shop) travel about 5kms on the NV road until you get a gate with as sign on a pole which says ‘NV 12 – 14’. Turn right through this gate which is on a very sharp bend in the road to the left. Continue until you reach NV12. This is the main house. You’ll see a big green gate with electric fencing.
• For PUSCHKA STONE COTTAGE travel about 5kms on the NV road until you get a gate with as sign on a pole which says ‘NV 12 – 14’. Turn right through this gate which is on a very sharp bend in the road to the left. Continue until just before you reach NV12. Turn left at the stone gate pillar.
• For PUSCHKA HOUSE travel about 6,5kms along the NV road until you get a gate on the right with the sign ‘NV 20’. Unlock & proceed through this gate and follow the track until you get to the house.
• For PUSCHKA WRITERS COTTAGE travel about 6kms on the NV road until you get a gate on your right with as sign ‘NV 18’. Go through this gate and follow the track until you get to the cottage.
• Directions from Pretoria to Magaliesburg:
• Take the Pretoria / Krugersdorp Highway(N14/N28)
• Travel towards Krugersdorp. At the 4 way robot (Sasol Garage/ Pinehaven) , turn right on the N14 towards Ventersdorp/ Tarlton.
• At T-junction turn right. Pass the Zenex Garage/ Oak Tree on your left. Shortly hereafter turn left on N14 towards Tarlton / Ventersdorp. At 4 way stop turn right towards Rustenburg (R24)
• Continue until you get to Magaliesburg (approximately 14 km).
• Directions from Randburg to Magaliesburg:
• Take either Hans Strydom or Beyers Naude North until you get to the Krugersdorp / Pretoria Highway (N14 / R28). Travel on the Krugersdorp / Pretoria Highway towards Krugersdorp. At the 4 way robot (Sasol Garage/ Pinehaven) , turn right on the N14 towards Ventersdorp/ Tarlton. At T-junction turn right. Pass the Zenex Garage/ Oak Tree on your left. Shortly hereafter turn left on N14 towards Tarlton / Ventersdorp. At 4 way stop turn right towards Rustenburg (R24). Magaliesburg after approximately 14 km.
• Directions from Sandton to Magaliesburg:
• Take William Nicol North. Turn left onto Witkoppen just before Fourways. Immediately at Traffic Light turn right onto Cedar. At the T-junction turn left and continue to Traffic Light. Turn right at Traffic Light. Turn left onto Krugersdorp/ Pretoria Highway N14 R28. At Traffic Light (Sasol Garage/ Pinehaven) turn right on N14 towards Tarlton/ Ventersdorp. At T-junction turn right. Pass the Zenex Garage (Oak Tree) on your left. Shortly hereafter turn left on N14 towards Tarlton / Ventersdorp. At 4 way stop turn right towards Rustenburg (R24). Magaliesburg after approximately 14 km.
