Escape to Peace Haven @ Windfarm, where private glamping tents offer breathtaking views of Table Mountain and Yzerfontein's ocean. Nestled between Yzerfontein and Darling, our iconic location is home to South Africa's first four wind turbines—a perfect backdrop for a relaxing getaway in nature.
Each glamping tent is spaced approximately 10 meters apart, ensuring privacy while keeping you close to nature. Inside, you'll find a queen-size bed or two single beds, a cozy seating area, and the option of a stretcher for one child. Every tent is fully equipped with an induction plate, fridge-freezer, microwave, kettle, cutlery, and crockery. Outside, enjoy your own private braai area with two chairs, and rest easy knowing electricity is available even during load shedding.
Guests can make use of separate ladies' and gents' ablution facilities, featuring baths, showers, toilets, and washbasins.
For social gatherings or downtime, the spacious communal entertainment area offers two pool tables that can double as dining tables, additional bench seating, a built-in braai, and a washing basin—perfect for connecting with friends and family while enjoying the serenity of the West Coast bush.

Directions
- Exit Cape Town International Airport onto Airport Approach Road, driving for 2.1 km.
- Merge onto Settlers Way/N2 and continue for 2.2 km.
- Take Exit 14 for the M7/Vanguard Drive towards Bonteheuwel, covering 550 m.
- Continue onto Epping Goodwood for 130 m.
- Use any lane to turn right onto Jakes Gerwel Drive/M7 and follow the M7 for 8.1 km.
- Keep right to continue on the N7, proceeding for 17.6 km.
- Take Exit 31 towards Melkbosstrand Road/M19, driving for 400 m.
- Take a slight left onto Melkbosstrand Road/M19, continuing for 8.2 km.
- Turn right onto the West Coast Road/R27 and follow the R27 for 49 km.
- Turn right onto the R315 and continue for 2.1 km.
- Look for a sign for 'Windfarm' on the left-hand side.
- Turn left onto the gravel road and continue to Peace Haven at Windfarm Accommodation.

To ensure everyone enjoys a peaceful stay, please take note of the following:
Quiet Hours: Settle down after 22:00 – no noise after midnight.
No Speakers: Please do not use personal speakers in the entertainment area or tents.
No Smoking: Not allowed in bathrooms, entertainment areas, or near tents.
Entertainment Area: Be considerate. Do not move pool tables, and no food or drinks on them.
Pets: Welcome by prior arrangement only and must be on a leash at all times.
Cleaning: Available on request at an additional cost.
Damages: Breakages incur fees – please contact management before departure.
Security: Lock your tent, close windows, and return the key to the lock box when leaving.
We are called Peace Haven for a reason – to provide rest and tranquility for all our guests.
Groups bookings should book the entire facilities.
