Kusudalweni is effortlessly accessible, located just a mere 40-minute drive from the Kruger Orpen Gate and the Hoedspruit Eastgate Airport. We recommend a 4×4 for self-drives to ensure a seamless and stress-free arrival to your luxury safari getaway.
Directions
- From Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport:
- Head west for 34 m.
- At the roundabout, take the 1st exit onto KMIA Rd and continue for 1.8 km.
- At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto R538 and drive for 3.0 km.
- Turn left to stay on R538 and continue for 4.5 km.
- Turn right and drive for 2.8 km.
- Turn left onto R538 and continue for 1.7 km.
- At the roundabout, take the 4th exit onto R40 and drive for 41.2 km.
- Turn left to stay on R40 and continue for 71.5 km.
- Turn right and drive for 2.8 km.
- Turn left onto Guernsey Rd and continue for 8.5 km.
- Turn right and drive for 1.4 km.
- Turn right and continue for 400 m.
- Turn left and drive for 170 m.
- Turn right and continue for 62 m.
- Turn right and drive for 77 m.
- Turn left and continue for 350 m. The destination will be on the right at Kusudalweni Safari Lodge, Portion 143, Guernsey Farm, Hoedspruit.

- Please note the following information:
- Check in is between 14h00 - 20h00; please let us know an estimated time of arrival.
- Check out is 11h00.
- We recommend an SUV for self-drive game drives to surrounding reserves.
- Game drives and Game walks are available at an additional cost by prior arrangement. Contact reception for more information. +27 63 302 5358.
- Indulge in a culinary experience at our restaurant, where we offer exquisite dishes from our Main Menu, including a variety of vegetarian and vegan options to cater to all preferences.
- For Halaal meals, we kindly request that reservations be made at least 2 days prior to check-in, and for Kosher meals, a minimum of 1 week in advance is required.
- Additional conservation fees apply, please confirm the current rate with reception prior to your arrival. The conservation fee starts from R165.00 per vehicle per stay, but is subject to change.
- Booking Conditions: We require a 50% Deposit to secure your booking. Full payment is required 6 weeks before arrival.
- Please note that children normally pay the full rate for activities. You can contact Reception to confirm.
- Child policy:
- 0 - 2 years: Free (1 Camping cot available, must be booked in advance)
- 3 - 6 years: 50% of the adult sharing rate.
- 7-11 years: 75% of the adults sharing rate.
- 12 years and older: 100% of the adult sharing rate.
- Cancellation policy: Forfeit full amount if you cancel within 14 days of arrival. Please note that we charge an administration fee to process any refunds to cover bank costs.
