Conditions

Rates:
• Guesthouse rooms are charged per person sharing or single rate and
INCLUDES BREAKFAST in the downstairs dining area (07:30 – 09:30).
• Rates exclude drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic), laundry and items of
a personal nature (i.e. telephone calls, items purchased at
Guesthouse).
• All rates are quoted in South African Rands and foreign payments are
accepted at the daily bank rate of exchange valid in South Africa on the
date that payment is received.
• Rates include 15% VAT (subject to change) and are quoted in SA Rand.
• All rates are subject to change without notice.
• A 50% deposit payment is required to confirm a reservation and full
payment is due on arrival.
• For last-minute reservations (less than 1 day before arrival), full
payment is required upon confirmation.
• All requests, confirmations and cancellations will only be valid in writing.
• Provisional bookings will be held for 7 days; thereafter the booking will
automatically be released, EXCEPT DURING PEAK SEASON AND
HOLIDAYS, where deposits are payable within 48 hours to confirm
bookings.

General Terms and Conditions:
• All rooms are strictly non-smoking. If you do smoke there will be a
R3000.00 steam clean penalty. Smoking is allowed outside in
designated areas.
• Guest will be liable for any deep stains on bedding or towels such as
nail polish, wine, coffee, blood, sunblock etc. An extra charge of
R500.00 will be payable for removing stains. If stains cannot be
removed, the stained attire will be sold to the guest.
• In the event of a lost room key, the guest is liable for a replacement fee
of R500.00.
• Strictly no pets allowed on the premises.
• Double or Twin beds are available. Please state your preference at the
time of booking.
• CHECK-IN: 14:00 – 18:00; CHECK-OUT: 07:00 - 10:00. Please inform
the guesthouse of a late check-in and/or early check-out or request a
later check-out time (if possible/available).
• Guesthouse facilities (i.e. lounge, bar, patio, TV room) are for the
exclusive use of guests staying in the Guesthouse rooms and Suites.
• Rooms will be kept until 18:00 on the day of arrival unless otherwise
agreed.
• The Mandyville reserves the right to change room allocations without
notice but will do its best to keep you in the requested room and/or
unit.
• Right of admission for guests and/or visitors is reserved at all times by
management.

Child Policy:
• Classic Family Rooms: Children of all ages welcome. Children between
the ages of 4 years and 11 years, pay an additional fee.
• Guesthouse Rooms: Children 12 years and older welcome, pay full
adult rate.

TRAVEL AGENTS:
• Reservations done by travel agents and/or tour operators must be paid
in full (100%) at least 30 days before guests’ arrival.
• Please note, for peak season reservations, the full invoice amount is
payable 60 days before your clients’ arrival. (December & July
bookings).

• MINIMUM STAYS applicable during December:
o Guesthouse Rooms: 3-night minimum stay.

A cancellation fee is a percentage of the deposit amount
• Cancellation fee of 30% if cancelled less than 14 days before arrival.
• Cancellation fee of 50% if cancelled less than 7 days before arrival.
• Cancellation fee of 100% if cancelled less than 3 days before arrival
and No Shows.
• Cancellation fee of 100% during PEAK SEASON (July and December)
if cancelled 30 days or less before arrival.
• REFUNDS: A 10% Admin fee will be charged in the case of a refund.

The Mandyville, its proprietors, employees and guests, expressly disclaim any liability to any guest or friend, family or acquaintance of a guest for any reason whatsoever. The use of the premises and facilities is done entirely at the own risk of all who enter here and no liability is accepted for any loss or damage sustained for any reason whatsoever, whether due to any acts of commission or omission or acts of negligence, and whether such damages be direct or indirect, punitive, consequential incurred for any reason whatsoever.
