The Dreamcatcher Lodge is a haven of peace and tranquility in a quiet part of the Hoedspruit Wildlife Estate.

Accommodation is offered in 4 spacious and stylish luxury suites, decorated with cool colours. The Lodge is stylish and intimate. Each air-conditioned suite features a king-size bed, flat-screen Smart TV, ceiling fan, mini-bar fridge, and an en-suite bathroom with a walk-in shower. Each room leads to a private deck with chairs and an outside patio, and a private braai and outdoor seating area nestled under the trees.

The lodge is centered around a sparkling lap pool with adjacent lapa. The swimming pool is the ideal place to cool off and the surrounding wooden deck offers sun loungers for relaxing on hot, sunny days.

The spacious thatched lapa offers comfortable seating, a bar fridge, microwave and dart board. It is the perfect place to relax after a busy day of game viewing.

At sunset, it’s time to go up to the sky deck for some snaps of the sun setting over the bushveld.

Access controlled with designated quiet times; Hoedspruit Wildlife Estate is ideal for guests looking to relax in peace and tranquility.

The Kruger National Park’s Orpen and Phalaborwa gates are a short drive away, ideal for day-tripping. The Panorama Route with its beautiful mountainous landscapes and waterfalls; the Blyde River Canyon and close proximity to Big 5 game tours offer activities to suit all interests.

There are a number of great restaurants, bars, shops, and grocery stores found within a 10 km radius.

Directions

  • From Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport:
  • Exit the airport, at the roundabout take the first exit onto KMIA road and proceed for 1.8 km;
  • At the roundabout, take the second exit onto the R538 and proceed for 3 km;
  • Turn left to stay on the R538 and proceed for 230 m;
  • Turn right to stay on the R538 and proceedf or 4.3 km;
  • Turn right and proceed for 2.8 km;
  • Turn left onto the R538 and proceed for 1.7 km;
  • At the roundabout, take the fourth exit onto the R40 and proceed for 41.1 km;
  • Turn left to stay on the R40 and proceed for 73.6 km;
  • Turn right onto Klaserie Road/R40 and proceed for 23.3 km;
  • To the left of the Pick 'n Pay Centre, turn left onto Rotsvy Road, you will see the signposts for the Hoedspruit Wildlife Estate, and continue to the security entrance of the estate;
  • Once through security turn left onto Rotsvy Road and
  • continue for 4 km;
  • Turn right into Wag n Bietjie Street and first right into Kanniedood Street and proceed for 110 m;
  • The Dreamcatcher Lodge will be on the right-hand side, 623 Kanniedood Street.

Cancellation Policy

  • If cancelling 7 days before arrival, forfeit 100% of the booking total.
  • If cancelling 14 days before arrival, forfeit 100% of the deposit.
  • If cancelling 21 days before arrival, forfeit 50% of the deposit.
  • If cancelling 30 days before arrival, forfeit 25% of the deposit.

Conditions

* Cardholder, ID/Passport is required at check-in. 
* The credit card used for the online deposit must be present at check-in.
* Firearms and pets are not allowed on the estate.
* The speed limit is strictly 40 kmph. Please note that guests are liable for any speeding fines issued.
* The Dreamcatcher Lodge is located on a residential wildlife estate, so no parties, loud noise or loud music are allowed.
* Please respect the wildlife, residents and other guests on the estate, and you will be fine.
* Guests who do not adhere to the estate's rules may be asked by security personnel to vacate the estate. No refunds will be given if that is the case.
* Strictly no smoking inside the rooms.
