Description

Sambane Game Lodge is a privately owned reserve situated in the Limpopo Province. With a broad diversity of game, Sambane Game Lodge is also the host of three of Africa’s Big Five.

The Sable Camp offers comfortable accommodations for family, friends, or small groups and consists of a 10-sleeper camp comprising 5 double en-suite rooms, sleeping 10 adults in total. The camp has a Bar, restaurant and a dining room. The Family Cottage consists of 2 en-suite bedrooms and bathrooms, the main bedroom has a queen-size bed and there are two 3/4 beds in the second room. The cottage has a private kitchenette in the main room.

A separate boma and braai area are at your disposal near to the bush to continue your experience with nature and quiet.

The camp is situated around a large swimming pool that you will enjoy during the warm days.

Sambane Game Lodge is situated less than 2 hours 30 min drive from Gauteng and OR Thambo Airport.

Close to the town of Naboomspruit (or Mooghophong) the lodge lies at the foothills of the Waterberg Mountains in a malaria free unspoilt wilderness.

The reserve boasts ample wildlife including many species of game as well as prolific birdlife.

Directions

From O.R. Tambo International Airport:
This route has tolls.
Turn right (signs for the R21/Pretoria) and proceed 550 m;
Merge onto the R21 and proceed 16.3 km;
Keep right to stay on the R21 and proceed 16.2 km;
Take exit 134 for the N1 North toward Polokwane and proceed 2.2 km;
Merge onto the N1 and proceed 123 km;
Pass through Kranskop Tollgate (3rd tollgate) and proceed for 30 km;
Take the Mookgophong/Naboomspruit off ramp;
Pass through the town and continue straight for 16 km;
Take the Mineral Baths turn-off to the left and continue for 2km;
Turn right at the Koeloemanrus gravel road and continue for 8km;
Destination will be at Sambane Game Lodge on the right side.

Cancellation Policy

If cancelling 7 days before arrival, forfeit 100% of the booking total.
If cancelling 14 days before arrival, forfeit 50% of the booking total.

*Cardholder, ID/Passport is required at check-in.
*The credit card used for the online deposit must be present at check-in.
* If paid by EFT, money must be cleared into Sambane's account before check-in
* Sambane Game Lodge operates with a restaurant and Bar.
*We do not have any self-catering units
* Rates are subject to change without prior notice.
* Reservations can be made online or by phone (see contact details below).
* Rates quoted and reservations made are secured and guaranteed once a 50% deposit is received.
* All such payments must be received within 2 working days of the date the reservation is made.
* Payments not received on the due date will result in losing you without prior notice.
* Once payment is received the reservation made will be automatically secured and the Rate quoted will be guaranteed.
* Cash, Cards and Internet transfer are valid payments. Cheques are not accepted.
* Sambane Game Lodge is a non-smoking establishment. Smoking indoors is strictly prohibited.
* Upon check-out, rooms will be checked in order to refund your deposit after your departure.
* Sambane Game Lodge accepts no responsibility for any loss or damage.
* All rooms are serviced daily between 08:00 and 13:00.
* Laundry services are available from Monday to Friday at an extra cost.
* Internet access is available at the Main Lodge only.
* Guests retain personal liability for any loss or damages caused to the property of Sambane Game Lodge.
* Do request a security / Breakage Dep R1,000.00 on Check-in, we will gladly refund the amount after you have checked-out.
