Description
On the outskirts of Hoedspruit, nestled between the Acacia and Marula trees of the 15,000-hectare Blue Canyon Conservancy, the friendly staff of Khaya Ndlovu will welcome you to our majestic bushveld villa in the heart of the Limpopo Province. Khaya Ndlovu Safari Manor is situated in the big game Rietspruit Game Reserve, surrounded by nature, yet a stone's throw away from Hoedspruit, the gateway to the greater Kruger National Park – wildlife haven of the Limpopo Province, South Africa.
The Safari Manor is situated in the northern section of the reserve overlooking the splendor of the famous Blyde River Canyon, the third largest and undeniably most spectacular canyon in the world.
There are various accommodation options at Khaya Ndlovu Safari Manor: 4 comfortable rooms/suites in the main house, spacious garden suites, and for the more adventurous travellers, a well-appointed safari tent. Each option features a private bathroom, and some boast outdoor showers or an outdoor shower and bath.
The dining and pool deck, bar area, and various lounges are at guests’ disposal at leisure, and we would like nothing more than for them to feel right at home. Festooned with a collection of original artwork, diverse in genre, complemented by an abundant assortment of Persian carpets dressing the floors, the Manor House exudes a luxurious and exotic ambience. The towering Drakensberg mountain range offers a majestic, panoramic view, which leaves you breathless as you step onto the alfresco dining terrace.
We offer a truly authentic safari experience under the guidance of our knowledgeable guides and conducted on our reserve. It's not about racing from one sighting to another at the summons of a faceless, crackly voice on a radio! Their intuitive instinct is to locate and track down those exciting animals. White rhino and our fiercely guarded Black rhino are among the big three that we can proudly show you, whilst rare and quirky wild dogs are a regular find.
We happily accept children of all ages and offer a wide variety of activities for all tastes such as day trips into the world-famous Kruger National Park, tours and boat cruises to the Panorama Route and Blyde River Canyon, helicopter flights, bush walks on the Rietspruit Game Reserve, and hot-air ballooning.
We also offer airport transfers from Hoedspruit Eastgate Airport.

Area Info
Hoedspruit is a small farming town at the foot of the Klein Drakensberg Mountains in the Limpopo province.
With proximity to many private game reserves, the Kruger National Park, and various animal sanctuaries, Hoedspruit offers the ideal holiday destination away from the maddening crowds.
Hoedspruit is the perfect getaway for animal lovers. Visitors can enjoy some wildlife experiences at one of several animal sanctuaries. Do a guided tour of the non-profit Hoedspruit Endangered Species Centre to see cheetahs, African wild dogs, and black-footed cats, or try a Platinum tour which includes African wild dog and vulture feeding. Other animal sanctuaries include the Moholoholo Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre, Daktari Wildlife Orphanage, and Khamai Reptile Centre.
Just a stone’s throw away from the Kruger National Park, Hoedspruit is one of the best bases for Big Five wildlife viewing. If you’re looking for something a little less commercial, visit Kapama Private Game Reserve. Kapama’s 13,000 hectares of savannah and riverine forest teem with all sorts of wildlife. In addition to the Big Five, there are over 40 mammal species and 350 different species of birds. Activities include game drives, bush walks, and elephant interactions and rides.
If elephant rides aren’t your thing, you can do a horse ride with African Dream Horse Safaris. Other leisure activities include the Roots of Rhythm Cultural Experience, exploring Bombyx Mori Silk Farm, visiting Mafunyane Cultural Village, cruising along the Blyde Dam, or sightseeing from the heights of a hot air balloon.
