Description
Nestled at the foot of the Outeniqua Mountains and centrally situated in the heart of the Cape Wildflower Floral Kingdom, Africa's Garden of Eden, our resort offers an ideal base for exploring the region, hosting conferences, weddings, special occasions, and events in George and the Garden Route.
We have 46 fully equipped one-, two- or three-bedroom self-catering chalets which can accommodate, in total, up to 154 guests, each with its own/sharing braai area and all set in a safe landscaped garden.
Guests have access to a big swimming pool, a tennis court and an outdoor jungle gym for the kids. All these units include DStv and high-quality Wi-Fi. We are constantly trying to improve our accommodation facilities for the convenience of our guests.
We are always in the process of upgrading so that our guests can experience a second home, away from home feeling. We look forward to welcoming you!

George is a beautiful city located in the Western Cape province along the scenic Garden Route. It is known for its breathtaking landscapes, historical significance, and outdoor activities. It enjoys a mild, Mediterranean-like climate, making it a year-round destination, with warm, dry summers and cool, rainy winters.
Nature lovers can explore the Garden Route National Park, Victoria Bay, and the Wilderness coastline, while adventure seekers can hike the Outeniqua Mountains, enjoy scenic drives through Outeniqua Pass, or play golf at Fancourt Golf Estate.
History and culture enthusiasts can visit the Outeniqua Transport Museum, the George Museum, and the iconic Dutch Reformed Mother Church. Directions
- From George International Airport:
- Exit George International Airport. Upon leaving the airport, turn right onto R102/Airport Road.
- Merge onto N2 Highway. Continue on R102 for approximately 2 kilometres.
- Merge onto the N2 highway heading east towards Knysna.
- Proceed on N2. Drive on the N2 for about 8 kilometres.
- Take the Courtenay Street/N12 exit towards George.
- Continue on Courtenay Street/N12. After exiting, turn left onto Courtenay Street/N12.
- You will pass the Garden Route Mall on your left-hand side.
- Arriving at Pine Lodge Resort.
- After passing the Garden Route Mall, look for Saasveld Road. At the traffic light, turn right into Saasveld Road. Pine Lodge Resort is situated on the corner of Knysna Road and Saasveld Road.

- Exceeding the maximum occupancy of the chalet will result in termination of your booking without a refund.
- Reception office hours vary; please contact the resort for times. Should you arrive after hours, your keys will be left at security if your accommodation is paid in full.
- Units are serviced daily; housekeeping is included in the rate.
- Check-in : 14h00 - 19h00.
- Check out: 10h00.
- All units are non-smoking units. Smoking is only permitted outside the chalets.
- We reserve the right to not refund card fees (transaction costs) in the case of any cancellation or situation where funds need to be reversed back to a credit card.
- The cardholder & ID/Passport must be present at check-in.
- The credit card used for the online payment must be present at check-in.
