Description
The four luxury, en-suite rooms are available on B&B basis one of the suites also offers selfcatering option and adjoining family bedroom if required. These rooms are equipped with Satellite TV and WiFi and high quality beds and linen. A full South African breakfast is free under the B&B rates, and may be enjoyed overlooking the splendid sylvan woodland garden and forest, in the summer period from the garden room. In the winter meals are served in the heated main dining room. Secure off-street parking for vehicles is also available. The House is set in the beautiful safe, and tranquil up market suburb called Eden, situated in the heart of George and adjacent to the Kat Berg nature reserve, and the town mountain dam.
The Guest House is set in a beautiful garden with a saltwater pool, affording guests an oasis of peace and tranquility, yet less than two minutes from the CBD of George and close to some of the town’s finest restaurants. Birdlife abounds in the garden, many pleasant bird-watching hours may be spent in the guest house sunroom or on the lower and upper pool veranda’s or from within the guest lounge, which all face the indigenous forest at the foot of the garden, where often monkeys play and larger birds such as the Knysna Loerie are frequently seen.

At all times of the year, the visitor is able to revel in an abundance of Ericas (heathers), Proteas and Restios - the main components of Fynbos. The spectacular Wildflower Show staged by the South Cape Herbarium annually in October is a not-to-be-missed event as is the strawberry festival held in September annually.

George as the hub of the Garden Route, is in an idyllic setting with a very temperate climate, and an ideal base from which to explore the many attractions of the surrounding Garden Route and its hinterland, as it is an easy drive to the adjacent tourist areas of Knysna, Oudtshoorn and Mossel Bay - so one need not relocate accommodation daily, rather unpack and make Edenwood your home base.
Superb clean and safe beaches such as Victoria Bay, Herold's Bay and Wilderness are but minutes drive away.

- On the N2 from Knysna, after Wilderness you climb through the Kaaimans Pass up to the plateau above the sea below the Outeniqua mountains. When passing the Victoria Bay turn turn off on the N2, keep in the right hand lane which will feed you on to a fly
- over past the George Mall and into George itself. You are now on the Knysna Road. Take the 4th right into Fifth Street (Church on the corner). Go through the 4-way stop, continue straight and turn right onto Stander Street. - Come down the Outeniqua Pass on the N12 and carry on into George central by staying on the N12 until it intersects with the Main Road (York Street) at the traffic lights. Turn left at the lights and continue up York Street to the red bricked traffic circle and the Big Tree. Use
- the traffic circle moving to the right into Knysna Road and continue straight down this road over the railway bridge. Shortly after the
- large shopping area named "Pick 'n Pay" take the first left (Fifth Street). Go through the 4-way stop, continue straight on to the traffic circle and turn right onto Stander Street.
