Description
Oakhurst farm is one of the few remaining, large working farms along the Garden route. Covering 640 hectares, 200 of which is pristine fynbos and indigenous forest, the farm is today run commercially by the Crowther family, sixth generation descendants of the original purchaser, Henry Dumbleton.
Our 150 year old blacksmith forge has been lovingly transformed into the idea escape for couples and families looking for peace and quiet and something different.

Area Info
Oakhurst Farm is situated inland of the Wilderness Lakes along the Garden Route coast.
There are a number of hiking, cycling a walking trails both on the farm and in the surrounding area.
The farm is within a 15 minute drive from the beach at Wilderness George and Knysna are within 30 minutes driving distance.

- Take the HOEKWIL turnoff, which leaves the N2. Follow this road and bypass Hoekwil village to continue for 7.2km to the farm gate.
- Having turned right off the tar, continue for 2.4km on gravel to reach the sign for our Reception and Farm Shop.

Cancellation Policy
- Payment policy:
- To secure your stay a 50% deposit is required. The balance of the booking amount must paid in full to Oakhurst, at the latest, 1 month before arrival. In the event of a booking made within one month before arrival the entire booking amount must be paid immediately.
- In the case of a late or incomplete payment you are in default. Oakhurst will reserve to the right to cancel the booking within immediate effect. You are responsible for all damages which suffers or will suffer as a consequence of this, as well as all costs which Oakhurst has made with regard to your booking and the cancellation.
- Cancellation policy:
- In the event of a cancellation more than a month before arrival, your deposit of 50% will be non-refundable. In the event of cancellation within a month before arrival the entire booking amount is payable to Oakhurst. In the case of premature termination of the stay, the entire booking amount is payable to Oakhurst.
- 1 month before arrival: 50% Cancellation fee (50% deposit is non-refundable)
- Less than 1 month before arrival: 100% Cancellation fee (Full amount is due and non-refundable)
- No refund will be made for bookings made over peak periods i.e long weekends and holidays
