Mountain Magic

Mountain Magic is an unreal property on a headland with 360-degree views on a 6-hectare, spectacular piece of ground with loads of space to explore and amazing views. A once-in-a-lifetime spot to stay for chilled basic living and dreamy sunsets from the deck.

Guests have a choice of 3 newly converted containers, that are light, and air-conditioned for comfort, making them ideal for a romantic or family getaway. Pet-friendly Mountain Magic is located off the beaten track, but close enough to the village buzz and beaches.

Magic Mountain 1 comprises 2 containers joined by a deck with a hammock and a braai. The rooms are furnished with queen-size beds and a bunk bed. A bathroom with a shower and toilet is shared and an outdoor bath is available. The kitchen is equipped with a 2-plate stove and oven, microwave, fridge, tea and coffee facilities. The living area opens onto the deck and from here guests will enjoy spectacular sea views.

Mountain Magic 2 has been tastefully converted into an open-plan living space for 2. The unit is furnished with a comfortable queen-size bed and has an en-suite bathroom fitted with a bath and a toilet. An outdoor shower is also available. The kitchen is equipped with a gas stove, oven, microwave, tea and coffee facilities and the lounge has comfortable seating and a workstation. The container opens the garden with outdoor seating and braai facilities, overlooking the surroundings and having sea views.

The lovely Mountain Magic 3 blends in with nature, providing you with comfort, privacy and relaxation. Wake up to birdsong and enjoy the exquisite views and sunsets from your hammock or outdoor hot tub. With 360-degree views of mountains, sea and rivers, the container is perched on the top of Hoekwil, overlooking Wilderness and the Serpentine. The rooms are furnished with a queen-size or king-size bed sharing the use of a bathroom with a bath and shower. The open-plan kitchen is equipped with a gas stove, oven, fridge, microwave and tea and coffee facilities. The lounge area has comfortable seating and opens onto the garden with braai facilities, the hot tub and outdoor seating, all enjoying lovely sea views.

Guests are welcome to roam around the nursery on the property, check out the paragliding site, explore the paths or partake in yoga which takes place a few times a day on the North slope, separate from the container units.

Surfboards, bikes, e-bikes, scooters and guided tours are available on request, and Mountain Magic has a registered paragliding site on the property, so guests may see paragliders launching off the drop-off out front in season.
