Description
Welcome to Little Kubu Lodge, the perfect location to come and explore the magic of the beautiful South African bush. Situated not too far from Kruger National Park, in the picturesque Hoedspruit Wildlife Estate. We offer a tranquil space where you can relax, unwind, and immerse yourself in the local wildlife. Nature is just on our doorstep, with frequent visitors including giraffe, zebra, kudu, nyala, impala, jackal, warthog, and bush baby, as well as a variety of birds and the occasional leopard and hyena.
The lodge offers six en-suite bedrooms, each with a private patio and a view over the pool and surrounding bush. The bathrooms are fitted with either a shower or a bath and a shower. Five of our rooms feature a king-size XL four-poster bed, with one room available as an adjoining twin (2 Three quarter beds can be put together or kept separately), making it the perfect option for families.
All rooms are thoughtfully equipped with a flat-screen TV, bar fridge, cozy sitting area, outdoor furniture, and a Nespresso machine, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
Guests can enjoy access to the swimming pool, braai area, and shared lounge and bar areas, providing the perfect spaces to relax and unwind.

Just down the road, the iconic Kruger National Park is home to Africa’s Big Five: elephant, rhino, lion, leopard and buffalo, which can be seen on arranged game drives and day trips into the Park during your stay.

- Turn Right at the first stop street in Hoedspruit.
- As you then turn into Rotsvy Road from the R 40, you will drive straight to the Security gate of the Hoedspruit Wildlife Estate.
- Once inside, keep to the left ? road (Rotsvy Road).
- Turn right ? at the 5th street - Suurpruim.
- Down the road in a left ? turn, the name changes to “Wag ‘n Bietjie”.
- Little Kubu Lodge is just on the right ? after the bend :)

- Late arrivals for check-in after 20h30 will be charged a fee of R 200 on arrival.
- Arrivals after 22h00 will be charged a fee of R 400 on arrival.
- No loud noise is allowed in the Hoedspruit Wildlife Estate after 22h00 (fines of R 2000 will apply as per Estate Rules).
- We reserve the right to not refund card fees (transaction costs) in the case of any cancellation or situation where funds need to be reversed back to a credit card.
