*Bosuns Cottage: sleeps 4 people in 3 bedrooms. Main bedroom has a King bed, the second and third bedroom has a single bed.
*Captain’s Cottage sleeps 4: Main bedroom has King bed, second has twin beds or a King bed if you choose
*Fully equipped self-catering kitchens with stove/oven, fridge/freezer, microwave and all small appliances.
*Cabana: Studio with King bed, en suite shower bathroom, kitchen with breakfast bar.
*Beds have orthopedic mattresses and luxury, white cotton percale bedding to ensure a good night’s rest
*Camping cot or small fold-out bed is provided on request for a little one

The Noordhoek valley is one of Cape Town's best destinations.

Although a short drive to Cape Town and in proximity to all of the attractions of the Peninsula, it offers a colourful village atmosphere with rustic surroundings; truly the last remaining rural area and country village in the Cape Peninsula.

The properties are large and verdant by Cape Town standards, being remains of the farms that used to provide provisions for the Dutch ships at Simons Town.

Here you will find cool leafy country lanes with road crossings for horse riders, clean fresh air unpolluted by industry.

  • From Cape Town International Airport:
  • Take the N2 Highway to Cape Town, and then take the M3 Muizenberg, Exit at the foot of the mountain and join Rhodes drive passing UCT on the right;
  • Travel until the end of this highway without taking any exits, continue across the Constantia valley (Simon vd Stel Highway) until you reach a T-junction at the foot of the mountain and turn right towards Noordhoek and Ou Kaapse Weg.
  • Take the left fork to Ou Kaapse Weg signposted for Noordhoek and Simonstown and enjoy a wonderful scenic drive over the mountain, do not take the first M6 Silvermine Road exit to Noordhoek/San Michelle; carry on towards Simonstown and then at the bottom of the mountain, turn right into Noordhoek Main Road M6 (clearly signposted) to Chapman's Peak drive where there is a big billboard welcoming you to Noordhoek and telling of all of the local attractions.
  • Take the first road to the right which is Sea Cottage Drive. We are at No 9 Sea Cottage Drive; look out for the brown tourist direction sign.
  • From N1 Highway going towards Cape Town; as you approach Table mountain, pass Century City on your right (biggest shopping mall in Cape Town) take the M5 exit for Muizenberg; travel on this highway (Black River park highway) a short distance and exit left taking the Cape Town N2, travel a short distance keeping to the left lanes, and at the foot of Table Mountain slopes, take the M3 exit left towards Muizenberg and follow directions above.

Cancellation Policy

  • If cancelling 7 days before arrival, forfeit 100% of the booking total.
  • If cancelling 30 days before arrival, forfeit 75% of the deposit.
  • If cancelling 90 days before arrival, forfeit 30% of the deposit.

Conditions

Noise- Noordhoek is a haven of peace and tranquility and guests are requested to moderate noise, especially at night. Loud playing of music as well as parties are not permitted.
Pets - No pets allowed, though we have a cat and dog. Non Smoking. In the interest of the comfort of all of our guests, we do not permit smoking in the accommodation. Ashtrays are provided on the patios.
Visitors are not permitted.
