Area Info
Wilderness has become an internationally sought after holiday resort.
It is renowned as much as for its natural beauty, vast stretches of beach, tranquility and calm seas, as it is for its hospitality.
Whilst Wilderness is the convenient area for exploring the Garden Route, it offers a rich diversity of attractions.
Within the village are coffee shops, bistros, Mini Market and many restaurants.
Bird-watching is a rare and unique experience, for here are wetlands, forests, mountains, beaches, open fields and fynbos that provide habitat for over the 200 species.
Canoeing on the Touw River or the Serpentine – which meanders between the Touw River and 3 lakes is a popular and relaxing pastime, or a canoe ride to the King-Fisher Waterfall.
Directions
- Coming from the airport or from George please follow the N2 till Wilderness. As you come down the pass please drive past the Village entrance. Only a few meters further you turn right into Sands Rd. 83. Haus am Strand is in front of you with the red parking.
Cancellation Policy
- If cancelling 7 days before arrival, forfeit 100% of the booking total.
- If cancelling 14 days before arrival, forfeit 100% of the deposit.
- If cancelling 21 days before arrival, forfeit 50% of the deposit.
- If cancelling 30 days before arrival, forfeit 25% of the deposit.
