Description
Glen Eden Farm is a small holding of 50 hectares 14km outside of the historic town of Montagu. There are 5 luxury cottages & 3 unique glamping options with 6 sites in total (glamorous camping).
All cottages have private gardens with dining furniture, braai, & splash pool & a wood fired hot tub along with everything needed for a self-catering break. The glamping sites offer unique accommodation experiences. There are 2 glamping pods with shepherds wagon sleeping 4 people, 3 glamping pods each have with a hand-made Gypsy wagon and Bell Ten.
All these sites have a private bathroom and kitchen, braai, fire pit & hot tub. We have a small upmarket camping site with 6 sites, there is our one glamping site situated at the camp site which has 2micro-bedrooms.
This site shares the ablutions with the camping site but has a private kitchen, all camping sites and this site have wood fired hot tubs., Both groups and pets are welcome

- Driving Directions
- From Cape Town Direction: Head out of Montagu passing Spar on your right and travel towards Barrydale on the R62, we are located just over 14 KM from Spar on the left hand side.
- Some things to look out for: On the left you will pass 'Forest Timber' there are hundreds of fruit picking crates outside, on the right Guano Caves and then around 6 KM after guano Caves on the left you will pass a large dam, the farm is situated also on the left after this dam.
- The gate to reception is directly before a green sign on the left 'Ruigtevlei', and the gate to the cottages is situated 100 metre's past this sign also on the left.
- Heading from Barrydale direction: Pass the Karoo Salon on the left continue on R62, you will then pass a sign for Poortijieskloof dam which is around 16KM from the farm, you will pass the gate to the cottages first which will be on your right and 60 meters after also the right is the gate to reception.
Cancellation Policy
- If cancelling 7 days before arrival, forfeit 50% of the deposit.
- If cancelling 14 days before arrival, forfeit 25% of the deposit.
- If cancelling 31 days before arrival, forfeit 0% of the deposit.
Conditions
50% of total booking value payable within 48 hours of booking to secure reservation.
