All bedrooms feature air-conditioning and come with a king-size bed and an en-suite bathroom with a separate bath and shower. The master suite is situated upstairs and boasts a furnished balcony with stunning views of the mountain and natural surroundings. The remaining four bedrooms are located on the ground level.

Known as an artist and nature lover's town, Clarens is situated at the foothills of the Maluti Mountains in the Free State province of South Africa and nicknamed the "Jewel of the Eastern Free State".

It was established in 1912 and named after the town of Clarens in Switzerland, where exiled Paul Kruger spent his last days.

It is situated 336 km from Johannesburg, 284 km from Bloemfontein, and 389 km from Durban.
