Avani Lodge Private Nature Reserve is renowned for the tranquillity of our environment, and the abundance of fynbos species within the reserve. Guests will feel the natural inclination to enjoy the freedom to relax and enjoy our facilities and the great outdoors. Our eco-friendly, thatched, straw bale and cob rondawels, each with its own private wood-burning Hot Tub, offer a rustic and quirky space where guests can expect nothing less than soul-feeding tranquillity and peace.
Each unit accommodates two people only, except Parrastoel which can accommodate 2 – 6 people.

Please note: Avani is 100% self-catering regarding consumables. Guests bring their own coffee, tea, salt & pepper, ice, fire starters & matches, body soap, shampoo etc.
We provide a braai grid (burned clean, if you like it shiny, please bring your own), kettle, cutlery, crockery, linen, towels, fridge, cooker plate and ample wood for the hot tubs and barbeque.

- Each unit has a hot tub and braai with a grid. Wood provided.
- Children are only welcome in the two family units (Parrastoel & Truffle)

- All other units can only accommodate two people
- No pets due to territorial resident dogs.
- Except for Truffle, we regret that the property is not wheelchair-friendly due to steps and the rough terrain.
