The View Swellendam B & B is located in one of the best parts of Swellendam with truly magnificent views up into the majestic Langeberg Mountains, but within in easy walking distance of many historical buildings, museums and restaurants.

The view is a newly and lovingly renovated large family home, set in a lush, established garden where guests can enjoy quiet relaxation. We have 4 beautifully appointed and furnished en-suite rooms. All rooms have mountain views.

We have a large, inviting swimming pool which has seating on one side, where guests can enjoy a quiet drink in the pool and gaze up into the mountains. The View Swellendam is a great, any-day break-away, where guests can relax and restore the soul.

Area Info

The picturesque little town of Swellendam is just off the N2 about 240 km outside of Cape Town and connects the Southern Overberg with the Garden Route.

Directions

  • From Cape Town International Airport........
  • Exit from Cape Town International Airport, following the signs to N2 Highway. Just after leaving the airport, follow the N2 towards Somerset West. Remain on N2 for approximately 230km. Upon reaching Swellendam, turn left at the 3rd turning into Swellendam, turn left at the 3rd off ramp, signposted Swellendam East. Approximately 800m later, at the 1st Stop Street, turn right into Berg St and The View is about 400 metres up on right hand side. We look forward to welcoming you. (travelling time from Cape Town International Airport is approximately 2hrs)

  • If cancelling 7 days before arrival, forfeit 100% of the booking total.
  • If cancelling 14 days before arrival, forfeit 100% of the deposit.
  • If cancelling 21 days before arrival, forfeit 50% of the deposit.
  • If cancelling 30 days before arrival, forfeit 25% of the deposit.
