Just a stone's throw from Lanseria International Airport, Johannesburg, this wilderness lodge welcomes all searching for a soul retreat and a place where nature reigns supreme.

Glamping Tents

Our Glamping Tents have been designed to offer guests an escape from everyday disturbances and stress. The open plains of the Mount Savannah Game Reserve create the illusion of being swept away to another world, where you can take your time in reconnecting with your loved one and nature.

The Glamping Tents have solar electrical supply, which allows for some lighting as well as charging of cell phones and laptops inside the Glamping Tents. No other electrical devices such as hair dryers and televisions are supported in the Glamping Tents. There is access to shared wifi.

Each Glamping Tent has its own outdoor wood-fired hot tub.

The room rate includes a set breakfast served at Sibani Restaurant, which is located at Sibani Main Lodge, 3.7km from the Glamping site. Guests may drive themselves between the Glamping site and the Main Lodge during the open hours of Sibani Restaurant.

Standard & Superior Cottages

Sibani Lodge has one Standard Cottage (Impala Cottage) and one Superior Cottage (Springbok Cottage) which are adjacent one another and positioned a little way from the main lodge, but near enough the main lodge to take full advantage of the outdoor communal swimming pool, sun deck, dining room and Sibani Spa.

Both cottages offer a bedroom and en suite bathroom. The bedroom is open plan with seating area and dining table. There are no televisions in the cottages, but both cottages have access to Wifi. Cottages have high thatch roofs and temperature is regulated by ceiling fan and fireplace.

The Standard Cottage & Superior Cottage each boast an outdoor wood-fired hot tub!

Luxury Cottages

Our Luxury Cottages, named Kudu & Sable are a recent addition to Sibani's accommodation offering and surpass our other accommodation in size, quality, and vistas.

Kudu and Sable Cottage are adjacent to one another and are located 75m away from the lodge, making it near enough to enjoy the communal sundeck, outdoor swimming pool, dining room and Sibani Spa at the main lodge, but far enough to ensure more privacy and elevated to ensure unobstructed views.

The two cottages are a mirror image of each other, each unit with one king size bed that can convert to twin beds. The en-suite bathroom has a large shower with views over the surrounding veld. The bedroom, sitting area and dining table are open plan.

There are no televisions in the cottages, but both cottages have access to Wi-Fi. Cottages have high thatch roofs and temperature is regulated by a ceiling fan and fireplace.

The outside also does not disappoint, with its offering of large wooden deck, sun loungers and outdoor wood-fired hot tub!

The room rate includes a set breakfast served at the dining room and wood for your first hot tub experience at Sibani.

Guests are welcome to buy additional wood for their hot tubs on site.

Safari Living

Our brand-new Safari Living Units were affectionately named Mrs. Ples & Little Foot. These names derived from a renowned fossil discovery in the Cradle of Humankind.

The natural environment and modern architecture of the Safari Living Units are seamlessly infused, which pays testament to the fact that history and the present can effortlessly collaborate to create a spectacular product.

Little Foot is situated at 100m and Mrs. Ples at 150m distance from the main lodge, which is near enough for the guests
from Safari Living to visit the main lodge for use of the sun deck, outdoor swimming pool, dining room and Sibani Spa, but far enough for the privacy that so many guests crave.

  • The Sterkfontein Caves are world famous for their fossil finds and a well-known visitor destination. After an extensive face-lift in 2005, the Sterkfontein Caves site is home to a top restaurant and conferencing facilities.

  • Take Ashenti Rd to Pelindaba Rd/R512.
  • Drive along R540.
  • At the roundabout take the 1stexit and continue onto the M5.
  • Turn left to merge onto N14 toward Krugersdorp.
  • At the first set of traffic lights (Sasol Garage) turn right onto the N14 - travel for 10.2 kms.
  • At the T-junction (Zenex Garage) turn right (R563), travel for 5 kms, Mount Savannah Nature Reserve entrance is on your right hand side.
  • Go through the gate and keep right, follow the dirt road for 1.5kms turning off at the first sight of the lodge.
  • From Montecasino Fourways (43km):
  • Take Montecasino Blvd to Witkoppen Rd.
  • Turn left onto Witkoppen Rd and continue onto Northumberland Ave.
  • After approximately 5km turn right onto Beyers Naude Drive/ Main Rd/ M5.
  • Turn left onto Drift Bld/R115 and take a slight left onto N14 toward Krugersdorp.
  • At the first set of traffic lights (Sasol Garage) turn right onto the N14 - travel for 10.2 kms.
