Ridge House is situated in the beautiful town of Hermanus, South Africa.

We overlook the town and picturesque Walker Bay, and bordered behind by the Fernkloof Nature Reserve.

Fall out of bed in the mornings and across the road you are immediately on the running, hiking and mountain bike trails.

A 10 minute walk or 1 minute drive will have you on the world renowned Hermanus Cliff Path, boasting some of the best land based whale watching on the planet.

Hermanus town center has a delightful choice of lovely restaurants, galleries, shops, hidden alleyways, coffee shops and nightlife.

Directions

  • From: Cape Town and Cape Town International Airport
  • Follow signs to N2, direction George, Caledon and Somerset West.
  • Follow N2. Through Somerset West and over the Sir Lowry's pass.
  • After 67 kms from Cape Town international airport, take exit 90 toward R43/Kleinmond/Hermanus.
  • Watch out for the slip road,left, at the bottom of the Houw Hoek pass.
  • Follow R43 to Hermanus
  • After 28.5 km,turn left into Mountain drive, at the traffic lights, opposite the Total Garage and the Gateway shopping center.
  • Continue onto Mountain Dr for 950 m
  • Ridge House will be on the right
  • 66 Mountain drive,
  • Hermanus
