This gracious Cape Dutch homestead offers,a secluded swimming pool, courtyards and the intimate cognac lounge.The lodge boasts one of the finest menus on the Garden Route specialising in seafood and venison.Sumptuous breakfasts and convivial 4 course gourmet dinners are served in one of the traditional reed ceilinged dining rooms.

We are situated between the coastal towns of Knysna and Plettenberg Bay, offering a memorable getaway along South Africa's Garden Route. Our Cape Dutch-style homestead is set on a 24-acre estate with 2 pools and ensuite rooms, offering traditional South African hospitality.

Since opening our doors we have established ourselves as a Gourmet Retreat with focus being on personalised service and attention to detail. Our loyal staff are part of the Lairds family – some of which have been with us for over 25 years.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellation within 30 days of date of arrival = 50% of reservation total.
Cancellation within 15 days of date of arrival = 75% of reservation total.
Cancellation within 7 days of date of arrival = 100% of reservation total.
No shows or departures prior to scheduled date will incur 100% of the reservation total.
Refunds and waivers. At the sole discretion of management.

December / January Reservations (Peak Season)
A minimum stay of 2 nights – from 23rd December to 5th January both dates inclusive.
Single pays full double room tariff – from 23rd December to 5th January, both dates inclusive.
30% non-refundable deposit required for bookings over Christmas & New Year.
