Woody’s Cabin
A charming one-bedroom self-catering cottage located on a private farm near a peaceful river, just outside Himeville in the magnificent Southern Drakensberg. This cosy unit sleeps 3 to 4 guests, featuring a queen bed in the main bedroom and a bed in the lounge area. The en-suite bathroom is fitted with a shower for your comfort.
The open-plan living area includes a fully equipped kitchen, dining area, and a welcoming lounge with a fireplace — perfect for relaxing evenings. Entertainment includes a TV with selected DStv channels and Wi-Fi. A braai is available for outdoor cooking, and safe parking is provided.
Step out onto the spacious deck with a 6-seater outdoor table, ideal for enjoying meals while soaking in the spectacular mountain views. The cottage is surrounded by a fenced garden, making it ideal for families with children and guests traveling with pets. A jungle gym provides fun for the little ones, while adults can relax and take in the sunset and the mountain views.
Guests are invited to enjoy peaceful farm walks, hikes, and fly-fishing in the nearby river. Linen and towels are provided, and while we are pet-friendly, we kindly ask that you bring your pet's own bed.

The studio includes a small yet well-equipped kitchenette, fitted with a 2-plate stove and oven, a bar fridge, and all the essential amenities needed for a convenient self-catering stay.
For your comfort and convenience, the studio offers Wi-Fi, a TV, and heating/air conditioning. Please note there is no fireplace.

Directions
- N3 - Take the Merrivale/Southern Berg (Underberg, Boston) off ramp at Merrivale/Howick Exit 99. Follow the R617 to Underberg (111km) – drive straight through Underberg on the R617 , at the Shell Garage turn right and travel through the town of Himeville , when you get to the crossroads of the Sani Pass , you will take a dirt road to you right into “Pevensey” road. At 100 metres from the turnoff you will see a white gate which is the entrance to the farm and cottages. As you drive through the main gate you will turn to your left up the long drive all the way to the top following the signs to Rose Cottage.

- Check out is 10am,
- We reserve the right to not refund card fees (transaction costs) in the case of cancellations or other situations where funds need to be reversed back to a credit card.
- The cardholder & ID/Passport must be present at check-in.
- The credit card used for the online payment must be present at check-in
- Payment of a deposit constitutes acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
- A 50% deposit is required to confirm your booking
- We reserve the right to cancel the reservation should we not receive your deposit timeously.
- Deposits are non-transferable and subject to the cancellation policy.
- No refunds for late check-ins or early check-outs.
- Additional guests over and above the number specified on your invoice are not permitted.
- Failure to comply with this shall result in your booking being terminated, and you shall be requested to vacate the property immediately. No refunds shall be granted.
- Guests will be liable for breakages or property damage.
- There is a no-smoking policy inside the units. You will be liable to a fine of R1 000 should you breach such policy.
