Description
Dennehof Karoo Guesthouse consists of several buildings that once constituted the original farmstead. Each room is uniquely designed and decorated to provide you with luxury, whilst experiencing the grandeur of Great Karoo-living. Each of our rooms has their own character and is infused with great personality.
The main house of the original farmstead houses four of our guest rooms which are all en suite, whilst the other rooms are situated towards the back of the property. This is were we have our two Suites, both with private patios. The converted old farm reservoir now serves as the swimming pool and overlooks the olive grove and majestic Swartberg mountains.
Next to the pool is our sauna, ideal for use all year round, but especially in cooler winter months. Expansive gardens provide a lovely oasis for guests to stroll through, or sit and enjoy nature’s beauty from one of our many vantage points.

Dennehof Karoo Guesthouse is situated at the foot of the Swartberg Mountains; explore the famous Swartberg Pass and lost valley of Gamkaskloof - Die Hel for a great day out.
Meiringspoort and the waterfall is also a short drive away, and the Cango Caves and ostrich farms in the Oudtshoorn vicinity are a popular attraction.
Prince Albert is host to a fantastic selection of olive oil producers, as well as the beautiful Weltevrede Fig Farm.
Tannie Marie's deli at Gay's Guernsey Dairy is the perfect spot to stock up on cheeses, yoghurt, and other local fresh produce.
We also have some stunning creatives and artists in town, most have some work hanging at the Gallery.

Directions
- From JOHANNESBURG on N1:
- Option 1: Turn off at the Leeu-Gamka gravel road and follow the road for approx 50kms. Recommended for 4x4 vehicles only.
- Option 2: Turn off at Prince Albert Road train station and travel on tar road for 44kms.
- From CAPE TOWN on N1:
- 84kms after LAINGSBURG, turn right at Prince Albert Road train station and follow the R407 road for 44kms into Prince Albert town.
- From GEORGE:
- Take the N12 to Oudthoorn then De Rust through Meiringspoort for 22kms. Furthe on turn left onto the R407 to Prince Albert town for 47kms.
- Alternatively over the Swartberg Pass from Oudtshoorn on the R328 for 67kms of which 34kms is on a gravel road.
- In PRINCE ALBERT from the N1 follow the road straight through the town and the road bends to the right and then to the left (making a S-shape) as the road leads out of town, you will find a sign to your left for Dennehof, down the steep hill follow the road right and the main gate is straight ahead.
- In PRINCE ALBERT from George/Oudtshoorn, follow the road for approx 3,5kms look out for the second sign DENNEHOF past the reservoir, down the short gravel road turn right and the main gate is situated straight ahead.

- If cancelling 7 days before arrival, forfeit 100% of the booking total.
- If cancelling 14 days before arrival, forfeit 100% of the deposit.
- If cancelling 30 days before arrival, forfeit 25% of the deposit.
