Solar Beach is a select area of Plettenberg Bay between Robberg Beach - a 4,5 km white sandy beach -and the Brakkloof Wetland.
Christiana Lodge is within walking distance from the Robberg Nature Reserve and a short 5-min walk from Robberg Beach.
This is not for those who want to be near the shops or in suburbia.
We are 4,5 km from the centre of town.

- Directions:
- There is a new road from Knysna. We suggest you use our directions rather than a GPS, which will take you on a more complicated route. Please remember to print this page.
- From Knysna:
- look out for the Sasol Garage on your right hand side, about 12,5km from the outskirts of Knysna;
- 0,7 km from the Sasol garage: turn right direction Plettenberg Bay airport;
- follow this road for 13,4 km and turn right at the Robberg sign;
- turn left at the first road (0,7km);
- turn right after 1.9km into Griz Nez Ave; drive down Griz Nez for 1.2 km and turn left into Aquarius Close (at this point Griz Nez becomes a dirt road). Christiana Lodge is the second building on the left hand side.
- From Port Elizabeth:
- take the Piesang Valley turn-off into Plettenberg Bay (third turn-off coming from Port Elizabeth). Turn right at the first traffic circle; drive past Kwikspar and turn right into Longships Drive. Drive for 1.9 km and turn left into Griz Nez Ave. Drive down Griz Nez for 1.2 km and turn left into Aquarius Close (at this point Griz Nez becomes a dirt road). Christiana Lodge is the second building on the left hand side.

- We reserve the right to not refund card fees (transaction costs) in the case of any cancellation or situation where funds need to be reversed back to a credit card.
