It's ideally located near the Kruger National Park and various local attractions. The lush 9.5-hectare bushveld forest is home to diverse bird species, monkeys, and various other small animals (some nocturnal). The lodge provides a peaceful escape with modern amenities and dedicated hospitality.

Directions

  • From Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport:
  • Head west for 34 m.
  • At the roundabout, take the first exit onto KMIA Road and continue for 1.8 kilometres.
  • At the roundabout, take the second exit onto R538 and continue for 3.0 kilometres.
  • Turn left to stay on R538 and continue for 4.5 kilometres.
  • Turn right and continue for 2.8 kilometres.
  • Turn left onto R538 and continue for 1.7 kilometres.
  • At the roundabout, take the fourth exit onto R40 and continue for 27.9 kilometres.
  • Turn left and continue for 5.6 kilometres.
  • Continue onto Kiepersol Road for 1.0 kilometres.
  • Turn left at the brown tourism sign for "Chestnut Country Lodge" onto the dirt road and continue for 1.9 kilometres.
  • Turn right, and the destination will be on the left in 110 m.
