- Many of Cape Town's most famous tourist attractions are mere minutes away from Carmichael House.
- Table Mountain is undeniably the biggest tourist attraction in South Africa. The summit can be reached by trails a few minutes' walk away or by cable-car.
- The V&A Waterfront is 10-minute driving distance away. Much of its charm lies in the fact that this busy commercial harbour is set in the midst of a huge entertainment venue with pubs, restaurants, specialty shops, craft markets, theatres and movies. Daily tours to Robben Island depart from the V & A Waterfront.
- Also in close proximity are the beaches of Clifton, Camps Bay and Llandudno. Further afield are the Cape Winelands, the beaches of Noordhoek and Kommetjie, and Cape Point.

- We are the house before the last one on the left hand side - No 11 (a yellow double storey Victorian house - corner Christow and Wolmunster), going upwards towards Devil's Peak
- From Main Road - Mowbray: Wolmunster Road is off Main Road, two roads from the Mowbray Police Station and directly opposite the 7/11 shop
- From Cape Town:
- a. Take the M3 towards Muizenberg, exit 6D - Rhodes Avenue/Mowbray (at the windmill )
- b. After the stop, take the 1st road right - Cecil Road
- c. 1st left - Wolmunster Road
- From Southern Suburbs:
- a. Take the M3 towards Cape Town
- b. exit at "Woolsack Drive"
- c. drive down to Main Road (Baxter Theatre on the right) and turn left
- d. at the sign "ICTS on Main" turn left into Wolmunster Road (opposite the 7/11 shop)
- From Cape Town Airport:
- a. Take the N2 towards Cape Town
- b. Take the M3 turnoff towards Muizenburg
- c. first exit 6D - Rhodes Avenue/Mowbray (at the windmill )
- d. at the stop street take the 1st right - Cecil Road
- e. 1st left - Wolmunster Road
- From Rondebosch, Claremont, Kenilworth:
- a. Take Main Road past the Baxter Theatre and the Woolsack Drive M3 highway entrance
- b. at the sign "ICTS on Main" turn left into Wolmunster Road (opposite the 7/11 shop)
- From the N1 (Century City):
- a. take the M5 - Muizenburg off-ramp
- b. continue until you come to the N2 Cape Town off-ramp
- c. take the M3 - Muizenberg
- d. exit 6D - Rhodes Avenue/Mowbray (at the windmill )

- o Under 30 days prior = forfeit 100% of the deposit,
- for the Early Booker Special:
- o up to 60 days prior check-in = full refund – 5% for bank charges (with a minimum of R100)
- o Under 60 days = forfeit 100% of payment, with 1 change permitted within 12 months following the original booking’s check-in date,
- for the Long Stay Special, the Weekly Special, the Winter Special & for 1-night bookings = full up-front payment is strictly non-refundable,
- Check-in time: from 14:00 to 19:00 (please advise if late arrival)
- Check Out time: no later than 10:00 AM on the day of departure.
