- The historical buildings of the Post House, St Andrews Church, the Smouswinkel and a number of others, are worth the visit alone and, for Capetonians especially, Greyton has become an antique and craft hunters’ delight with everything from bygone treasures to pottery.
- There is a craft market every Sunday in the Greyton village square and the annual Rose Festival, in October / November is not to be missed. But above all, Greyton is a nature lovers’ destination. It lies at the foot of the Riviersonderend Mountain range and, besides the multitude of day walks in the area there are also a couple of hiking trails.

Directions
- 5 km before Riviersonderend (coming from Cape Town) turn left onto the R406. In 3.5 km
- just passed Khomees Drif (camp site) turn right (over a one-way bridge). In 800m turn right at the TJunction. In roughly 1km you will go over a narrow cattle bridge, 100m there after your destination will be on your right (Choctaw Cottage – you will see three massive Gum trees) and on your left 200m
- (Shoshoni Cottage – middle cottage).

- If cancelling 21 days before arrival, forfeit 50% of the booking total.
- If cancelling 30 days before arrival, forfeit 25% of the booking total.
