Bikiberg is situated in the lovely small town of Clarens in the Free State. With breathtaking views of the mountains along with mind-boggling interior design work, Stay! in Clarens has guest suites unlike any other and a jewel not to be overlooked.

The tastefully furnished guest house offers accommodation in 2 in-suite bedrooms/apartments, as well as a beautifully decorated, spacious, luxurious main house. Each unit is equipped with a bar fridge, toaster and tea- and coffee-making facilities, as well as an induction plate and microwave. Guests can therefore prepare their own meals, or choose among the wide variety of restaurants in the area.

Main House has a lovely 6 plate gas stove, a large freezer and fridge, as well as a 12 seater dining room table. A lovely dining area is available in the garden, as well as braai facilities. We also offer free Wi-Fi and secure off-street parking.

Area Info

The Free State is characterised by wide open spaces and flat land interspersed by majestic mountains. The farming areas are fertile with areas rich in mineral deposits. The Free State is a region wedged between the magnificent Orange and Vaal Rivers with Lesotho as its border nestling in the hollow beneath impressive mountains.

The Orange River forms the southern boundary of the Free State and includes the Gariep and Vanderkloof Dams, which are the largest dams in the country. Many of the towns display a mix of culture clearly evident in the street names, public buildings, monuments and museums. Some of South Africa’s most valued San rock art is found in the regions in the Free State.

There are many little quaint and interesting tourist based towns scattered across the Free State including; Clarens, Parys, Dewetsdorp, Koffiefontein, Ventersburg to name but a few.

  • Traveling from Bethlehem (N5), turn right on to the R712. 36km farther turn right into Clarens. Immediately turn right onto Sias Oosthuizen. Second street to your left is Swart Street - Stay! In Clarens(484) will be on your right
