Area Info
Stellenbosch is a town in the Western Cape province of South Africa, situated about 50 kilometres (31 miles) east of Cape Town, along the banks of the Eerste River at the foot of Stellenbosch Mountain.
The town became known as the City of Oaks or Eikestad in Afrikaans and Dutch due to the large number of oak trees that were planted by its founder, Simon van der Stel, to grace the streets and homesteads.
The suburb of Die Boord is a safe residential area, where residents walk and jog freely.
Directions
- Travelling from the South on the R44, turn left into Van Rheede Street. This is the first entrance to "Die Boord." Cross the 4-way STOP and travel to the end of Van Rheede Street, then turn right into Lovell Street. Baruch Guesthouse 29 Lovell Street is on your righthand side.
- If your travel from the North on the R44 you will turn right onto Van Rheede Street and follow the instructions.
Cancellation Policy
- If cancelling 7 days before arrival, forfeit 100% of the booking total.
- If cancelling 14 days before arrival, forfeit 50% of the deposit.
- If cancelling 21 days before arrival, forfeit 25% of the deposit.
- If cancelling 30 days before arrival, forfeit 10% of the deposit.
