The calm turquoise of the Indian Ocean seamlessly merges into the green and gold of lush indigenous forests and pristine fynbos that cover the blue-grey mountains, capped by the magnificent African sky. Guiding your eyes through this collage of never-ending vistas is the Keurbooms River.
*At Alkantmooi you are on top of the world with beauty in every direction, or Alkantmooi in Afrikaans. Although Alkantmooi is a short 6 km drive from Plettenberg Bay's well-developed holiday infrastructure, the private nature reserve is secluded enough to provide nature lovers with the peace and quiet necessary to appreciate the splendour.
*Alkantmooi's four-star accommodation consists of nine fully-equipped, self-catering luxury apartments with separate entrances.
*Three units (KEURKLOOF) boast a spectacular mountain and forest view.
One freestanding bush-facing suite (KEURBOS 93) is surrounded by bush and has partial mountain view.
Easily accessible from the private nature reserve is an array of outdoor activities made possible by Alkantmooi's close proximity to the ocean, river, forests and mountains.
*The area boasts an abundance of bird and animal life, including the adjacent Keurbooms River Nature Reserve. Ideally situated for a stopover between Cape Town and Addo National Park.

- Exploring beyond Alkantmooi Private Nature Reserve by no means diminishes the beautiful experience. Plettenberg Bay is famous for its unspoiled beaches, fascinating tourist attractions, good restaurants and interesting shops. - Please note that the dirt road to Alkantmooi are not accessible for tour busses.
- Directions:
- From the Port Elizabeth-side on the N2 national road, pass the Thyme and Again farm stall on your right. Turn inland (right) at the 'Ferries' and Alkantmooi signpost, just before crossing the Keurbooms River bridge. Pass the Keurbooms River Nature Reserve hut and follow the signs up the dirt road onto the hill. Turn left at the 'Alkantmooi' signpost and go to reception.
- From the Plettenberg Bay-side on the N2 national road, turn inland (left) just after crossing the Keurbooms River bridge. Pass the Keurbooms River Nature Reserve hut and follow the signs up the dirt track onto the hill. Turn left and then right at the 'Alkantmooi' signpost and go to reception.
Cancellation Policy

- If the guest cancel in the 30 days before arrival - : 0% of deposit is
- refundable.
- If the guest cancel less than 14 days before arrival - : full invoice payable.
- 100% deposit will be taken for a 1 night stay.
- No date change (in the 2 weeks before arrival) will be allowed during October - April.
- Refund will be done within 30 days from cancellation.
- For a stay of 21 nights or longer, the booking will be considered non-
- refundable.
- During peak season (16 Dec to 10 Jan), full payment is due 2 weeks before arrival and is not refundable.
- Late arrivals or early departures will not be refunded. This include on account
- of bad weather or any condition that is not foreseen.
- The deposit payment will be considered a confirmation of the accuracy of the above booking details and an acceptance of the terms and conditions.
- We do not cater for the Plett Student Rage from November to December.
