We are situated in an well established, tranquil and quiet neighbourhood on the foot of the Magalies Mountains in the Moot area of Pretoria.

Each chalet has a garden view.

Potgieter Park is opposite of us to walk or jog ect.

  • From the Airport, use the R21 (Pretoria) up to intersection with N1 (37 km)
  • Follow N1 (Pretoria-Oos / Polokwane) up to Stormvoël M8 (Toll Plaza - 6th Off-Ramp) (14.3 km)
  • Turn left at robot (direction M8 Gezina) up to big circle (Hardy Muller circle) (0.7 km)
  • At circle (go around) turn right and continue in Fry street up to Cunningham (1.1 km)
  • Turn left into Cunningham (which becomes Louis Trichardt) and travel 3 km, we are 887 on left side, between 24th & 23rd Avenue, opposite park.
  • Travelling from OR Tambo Int. Airport via the R21/Fountain Circle (approximate distances below)
  • From the Airport, use the R21 up to Fountain Circle (45km)
  • Go straight (pass circle on right) and take first turn-off left - M5 Sunnyside (200m from circle)

  • Follow the N1 Route to Pretoria and take the Stormvoël Off-Ramp, turn right at traffic light into Stormvoël, cross few traffic lights and take the third exit at the Hardy Muller Circle into Fry Street.
  • Turn left into Cunningham (which becomes Louis Trichardt) and travel 3 km, we are 887 on left side, between 24th & 23rd Avenue, opposite park.
  • From Pretoria CBD
  • From Church Square take Palace Str and turn right onto Vermeulen (madiba) Street.
  • Drive up to Steve Biko str and turn left onto Steve Biko Street.
  • Drive till Soutpansberg Road and turn right onto Soutpansberg Road.
  • Drive till Parker Street and turn left onto Parker Street. Parker Street turns into Frates Road.
  • Continue until 24th avenue, turn left. Cross one robot and turn left into Louis Trichardt Street. Ciara Lodge is no. 887 on your left.

Cancellation Policy

  • For SINGLE-night bookings over weekends and GROUP bookings for more than 7 guests, as well as SAME DAY bookings, please FIRST call the Lodge for consideration. No group bookings over long weekends and December except for sport purposes. All bookings for more than 2 chalets ONLY to be booked with Ciara's permission. Group bookings: No alcohol and music allowed.
  • Breakage deposit to be paid in cash on arrival.
  • * Check-In: 13h00 - 18h00, (Late arrivals must be organised in advance, otherwise NO EXIT after 20:00)
  • * Check-Out: 10h00.. * ONE secured parking place per chalet. No visitors if not arranged with us in advance. Visitors need to park outside. We consider visitors in the rooms after 20h00 as paying guests. *Housekeeping free on weekdays. *Self-catering: Bring own food and liquor.* Ciara Lodge and its owners take no responsibility for any injury, death or loss of goods while guests are staying on the property. Guests stay, park and use all the facilities on the property at their own risk. * Children who sleep in a bed or on a mattress are charged as a person. * Children under the age of 12 are not allowed near the pool without the supervision of an adult. * Please respect all other guests. NO MUSIC, LOUD NOISE OR PARTIES ARE ALLOWED. No alcohol to be used at/around the pool. * The management reserves the right of admission of any guest and any visitor. * All damages/losses to any piece of the Lodge's property, fixtures or fittings will be for the Guest's account. * All rooms are NON-SMOKING. Should guests fail to comply with this house rule, a cleaning charge of a minimum of R200 will be levied against the guest's account. * The management reserves the right to verify the validity of a Credit card used to pay for a booking. In the case of a booking made with a credit card that cannot be verified with the owner of the credit card, this booking will be terminated.
