Area Info

Peace Valley Guesthouse is within easy walking distance of the village with its variety of restaurants and pubs to suit all tastes. There are several shops selling old and unusual items which are well worth a visit. Napier is known as the home to several local artists and much of their work is on exhibit in one or other of the various galleries in the village.
There is a regular Saturday morning market held in the village where local food and artisan products can be purchased - a chance to meet some locals in the process.

Napier is approximately 30 minutes drive from the beaches at Arniston and Agulhas, and is within easy driving distance of Hermanus, Gansbaai, Elim, and Stanford. It is approximately 2 hours from Cape Town and is an ideal location for those wishing to explore the Garden Route after a stop over at Peace Valley Guesthouse.

Directions

  • Follow N2 from Cape Town to Caledon and turn off for Bredasdorp. After approximately 55 kms you come to Napier. Drive straight through village until the Napier Farmstall and turn right into Almond Street. Take the first left into Wouter Street.   • A minimum booking period of 3 nights applies to any bookings for the period between 14 December to 11 January unless otherwise agreed at time of making the booking.
