Area Info
Hoedspruit is a small farming town at the foot of the Klein Drakensberg Mountains, in the Limpopo province. The town is close to many private game reserves, the Kruger National Park, and various animal sanctuaries.
Wild Heart Safari Accommodation is only 30 minutes from the Kruger National Park and various other Wildlife attractions such as Moholoholu Wildlife Rehabilitation Center, Hoedspruit Reptile Centre and Blyde River Canyon amongst others.

- From Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport:
- Head west for 34 m.
- At the roundabout, take the first exit onto KMIA Road and continue for 1.8 kilometres.
- At the roundabout, take the second exit onto R538 and continue for 3.0 kilometres.
- Turn left to stay on R538 and continue for 4.5 kilometres.
- Turn right and continue for 2.8 kilometres.
- Turn left onto R538 and continue for 1.7 kilometres.
- At the roundabout, take the fourth exit onto R40 and continue for 41.2 kilometres.
- Turn left to stay on R40 and continue for 73.6 kilometres.
- Turn right onto Klaserie Road/R40 and continue for 23.3 kilometres.
- Turn right onto Rotsvy Road and continue for 270 m.
- Turn left and continue for 85 m.
- Turn right toward Rotsvy Road and continue for 150 m.
- Turn left onto Rotsvy Road and continue for 1.0 kilometres.
- Turn right and continue for 300 m.
- Turn left, and the destination will be on the right in 63 m.
- Arrive at Wildheart Safari Accommodation, 322 Akasia Street, Hoedspruit.
Cancellation Policy
- Credit cards used for the online payment must be present at check-in.
- Wildheart (Main / Lion's Den / Zezty Zebra) Rules:
- No Smoking or Vaping inside the house – there will be a fine of R1000 issued to anyone who does not comply with this rule.
- The Hoedspruit Wildlife Estate is a residential Estate in a wildlife area, residents choose to live here because of the tranquillity in the natural setting that the Estate offers.
- No Speeding – 40kph on tar & 20kph on gravel roads.
- No Littering.
- No Pets allowed.
- No feeding, approaching or catching animals.
- No walking on roads and in public areas at night – large predators do occur on the estate.
- No loud music and a no noise policy after 10pm - if a disturbance is reported to security, the estate will impose a R2000 fine. This applies to all residents in the estate. Not just guests.
- No Fireworks.
- No drones.
- No access to Greenbelt between 22h00 & 05h00.
- No collecting of firewood.
- No Fires except in braai facilities/areas.
- Cover unattended fires at all times.
- Only commercial firelighters supplied are to be used for lighting fires - no other substances due to risk of fire in the estate.
- Failure to follow these rules will result in action being taken against visitors, this may include fines and/or eviction from the Estate.
- Please be respectful of the residents, both humans and animals at all times.
- We reserve the right to not refund bank costs upon cancellation for credit card bookings, as the bank does not credit initial deduction costs.
