Description

We are a bush lodge situated next to the Manyeleti game reserve that is part of the greater Kruger National Park. We offer open vehicle game drives into the Manyeleti game reserve as well as village tours to the Hlalagashle village presented by a local guide. We also offer bush walks and game drives in the Manyeleti game reserve. We have bar facilities available as well as a swimming pool.

Nearby Attractions

  • Guests can go on bushwalks, as well as morning and afternoon vehicle safaris in the Manyeleti Game Reserve, or full-day game drives in the Kruger National Park. All the activities are subject to availability and are weather permitting. We do welcome children of all ages, but only children 6 years and up are allowed on our game drive in open vehicles.
  • Bush walks require children to be 14years of age and older.

  • From Johannesburg or Pretoria
  • From Johannesburg, take the N12 East in the direction of Witbank
  • From Pretoria, take the N4 East in the direction of Witbank
  • As you pass Witbank continue east towards Belfast
  • At the Belfast sign turn left off the N4 and continue through the town
  • At the 2nd traffic light turn right on the R540 and drive towards Dullstroom for 36km
  • Pass through Dullstroom and drive 57km towards Lydenburg
  • At Lydenburg the R540 becomes the R36, continue on the R36 for 52km towards Orighstad
  • Pass through Orighstad on the R36 and drive towards the Abel Erasmus Pass
  • Below the Pass proceed through the J.G. Strydom tunnel
  • Continue on the R531 for 30km towards Klaserie (ignore the turnoff to Hoedspruit)
  • At the Orpen sign turn left towards the Orpen Gate and drive for 33km
  • Pass the South African Wildlife College on your left and just further on you will see the Manyeleti Game Reserve Tintswalo, Honeyguide and Pungwe signs, turn right here
  • Drive on for 200m to the Manyeleti entrance gate where you will need to pay a nominal entrance fee. Once in the reserve follow the main road towards Main Camp.
  • When you see main camp on your right, just follow the road and continue straight at the circle past the main camp entrance gate.
  • Continue on this road till you reach the Manyeleti Main Gate.
  • As you exit the gate, the entrance to Kruger Safari Lodge is on your right-hand side.

  • From Nelspruit / Hazyview
  • Take the R40 heading northwards in the direction of Hoedspruit/Phalaborwa for approximately 70km and the turn right onto the R531 towards the Orpen Gate.
  • Pass the South African Wildlife College on your left and just further on you will see the Manyeleti Game Reserve Tintswalo, Honeyguide and Pungwe signs, turn right here
  • Proceed on for 200 meters to the Manyeleti entrance gate where a nominal entrance fee is payable. Once in the reserve follow the main road towards Main Camp.
  • When you see main camp on your right, just follow the road and continue straight at the circle past the main camp entrance gate.
  • Continue on this road till you reach the Manyeleti Main Gate.
  • As you exit the gate, the entrance to Kruger Safari Lodge is on your right-hand side.

  • Reservations/Cancellations/Changes for FIT’s and/or Groups, must be confirmed by Kruger Safari Lodge in writing. All reservations/enquiries must be e-mailed to Kruger Safari Lodge.
  • Provisional bookings are held for a maximum of 7 days unless otherwise agreed.
  • Any reservation cannot be assumed as confirmed, booked or cancelled, without written confirmation from both parties. Group Rooming Lists to be sent 30 days prior to arrival.
  • PAYMENT:
  • The credit card used to make the online booking needs to be presented at check-in.
  • A copy of the cardholder's ID/ Passport is required on arrival.
  • Full payment of booking to be made 7 days prior to arrival.
  • Kruger Safari Lodge reserves the right to request payment in advance in the case of large groups, long stays or over high occupancy- and peak periods. Payments to be made in South African Rands into the bank account of Kruger Safari Lodge. Payments are made in full and free of any bank charges.
  • Late Payments: Kruger Safari Lodge reserves the right to cancel these reservation(s).
