Area Info
Constantia is a 20 minute drive from the Cape Town CBD. It is a popular area with it's proximity to the beaches of Muizenberg, the quaint shops of Kalk Bay, it also home to some of the oldest wine farms in Cape Town. The Hop on Hop off bus stop is a mere 10 minute walk away. Walk or do a trail run on the numerous Green Belt areas in the vicinity, or through the Groot Constantia Vineyards which adjoin the property via our own private access gate. The area offers numerous attractions in close proximity, the acclaimed Kirstenbosch Botanical Garden, Hout Bay and Chapmans Peak Drive, Table Mountain Cable Car, the iconic V&A Waterfront. Some of the oldest wine farms in SA are within a 5 min drive, Constantia is also famous for it's numerous cutting edge gourmet restaurants.
Directions
- From Cape Town International Airport Matroosfontein:
- Start by heading northeast on Freight Rd towards Airport Ring Rd for 260 meters.
- Freight Rd will slightly turn right, transforming into Airport Ring Rd, covering a distance of 1.5 kilometers.
- Take a slight left onto Airport Approach Rd and continue straight for 180 meters.
- Proceed onto Airport Approach Rd for 2.1 kilometers.
- Merge onto Settlers Way/N2 and travel for 10.2 kilometers.
- Take exit 6 towards M3/Rhodes Drive for Observatory/Muizenberg, spanning 350 meters.
- Merge onto M3 and continue for 4 minutes, covering a distance of 4.4 kilometers.
- Use the right two lanes to make a slight right turn onto Paradise Rd/M3, and stay on M3 for 4.1 kilometers.
- Take exit 14 for M41/Constantia Main Road towards Hout Bay/Constantia, traveling 450 meters.
- Turn left onto Constantia Rd/Constantia Main Rd/M41 and proceed for 3.5 kilometers.
- Make a left turn onto Price Dr, followed by another left onto Ou Wingerd Rd.
- Your destination will be on the left after 550 meters on 17 Ou Wingerd Road, Constantia.
