Brenton on Sea is situated on the scenic Garden Route coast line and nestles between the Indian Ocean and the hills of the Western Head of Knysna's Estuary, a 16 km drive from Knysna.
It's the perfect base and safe haven from where you can explore the treasures of the Garden Route.
There are 2 restaurants in the area and the closest supermarket grocery store is within a 20-minute drive.
The Resort is situated a mere 3 minute walk from the unspoiled Brenton beach.

Directions
- DIRECTIONS FROM PORT ELIZABETH:
- After Knysna follow the N2 towards George.
- Turn right at the white bridge over the lagoon, just past Knysna - signposted Brenton on Sea and Belvidere.
- Follow the road round the right, it takes you under the bridge you crossed.
- Carry on for approx 8 km until you get to the sea.
- You will pass Belvidere and Lake Brenton on your left.
- Continue down the hill, stay in C.R. Swart Drive.
- The offices are on your left hand side next to On Brenton Eatery.
- We will then proceed with the check in and give you further directions on how to reach your unit.
- DIRECTIONS FROM CAPE TOWN:
- Follow the N2 towards Knysna.
- You will pass Buffalo Bay on your right and Rheenendal on your left.
- Before Knysna turn left at the sign for Brenton on Sea and Belvidere, just before the white bridge over the lagoon.
- Follow the road round the right, it takes you under the bridge you crossed.
- Carry on for approx 8 km until you get to the sea.
- You will pass Belvidere and Lake Brenton on your left.
- Continue down the hill, stay in C.R. Swart Dr.
- The offices are on your left hand side next to Nauticus Restaurant. We will then proceed with the check in and give you further directions on how to reach your unit.
Cancellation Policy
- If cancelling 1 day before arrival, forfeit 100% of the booking total.
- If cancelling 14 days before arrival, forfeit 100% of the deposit.
- If cancelling 28 days before arrival, forfeit 15% of the deposit.
- If cancelling 999 days before arrival, forfeit 10% of the deposit.
Conditions
Children are welcome.
Unfortunately no pets are allowed.
Strictly no smoking in units.
All linen and bathtowels provided, no beach towels.
Coffee/tea provided for first night.
Late arrival policy:
We kindly request you advise us of a late arrival after 17h00 so that we can make the necessary arrangements with reception.
Breakages policy: we will charge a minimal fee for any breakages or lost keys / remotes.
