Sandspoor is a reflection of true West Coast Beaty. We border the Groot Paternoster Private Nature Reserve providing opportunities to see various wildlife. The ocean is just a few steps away, transforming the view with the brightest of blues or different palettes of grey, depending on its mood (or weather).

Unobstructed views of the sunset over the ocean leaves you in anticipation every night. Please feel free to read the blog from our first guest at Sandspoor Alice Dlamini.

Sandspoor is the place where you can find the calm you seek and the tranquillity you need. Sandspoor borders the Groot Paternoster Private Nature Reserve on the one side with true West Coast landscape all the way to Paternoster. The ocean is just a few steps away, transforming your backyard with the brightest of blues or different palettes of grey, depending on its mood (or weather). With unobstructed views of the sunset over the ocean every night, Sandspoor offers accommodation in two units.

The first unit is a fully equipped two-bedroom house sleeping four adults and three children. The second unit is a separate flatlet that can accommodate two adults and two children. The house and flatlet have their own entrances and can be completely private. Sandspoor is in Duyker Eiland, the furthest point of St. Helena Bay.

Guests can enjoy breakfast on the porch whilst watching the dolphins play in the bay. Evenings can be greeted with a quiet walk on the beach whilst the sun paints the sky in colours no one can ever match. As soon as the sun sets, the starry sky takes over with splendour. During full moon, make sure you leave the curtains open to allow the bright light to wake you, providing you with a chance to study the moonlit beach below you. The experience of walking on the beach with the moon as your trusted guide is truly memorable.
