Peacock and Lavender are two one-bedroom (sleep four) traditional farm-style cottages with a covered stoep and stunning mountain views down at the main Homestead.

Loerie and Lilac are two large studios (sleep two) traditional farm-style cottages with a covered stoep and stunning mountain views down at the main Homestead.

All the cottages have double showers, Victorian slipper baths, fully equipped kitchens, and covered stoep and braai areas.

*Please note: Check-in time is between 14:00 pm and 18:30 pm. Check-out time is 10:00 am. If you check in later than 18:30 pm we will charge a late check-in fee of R150 per unit, which does not apply on long weekends and holidays.

*No deposits or full payments will be refunded. No refunds are given if clients leave the farm early or for whatever reason. If you don't show or come and don't stay, having an outstanding balance, you will still be liable to pay it.

Directions

  • " After crossing over the railway line at the entrance to Magaliesburg coming from Krugersdorp direction (Wimpy on left)
  • " Go straight through Magaliesburg (Do not turn left to Koster), you will pass Mount Grace and Lovers Rock on your right. Just carry on straight for about 16 km
  • " You will also pass a sign that says New Thorndale on your left go straight.
  • " Then you will see shops on your left go past up over the hill.
  • " On your right you will see the Old Post Pub Maanhrraand. IMMEDIATELY after it turn right onto the Marikana road (also marked Mogallywood and Landof Guest House), travel 2.4 km along Marikana dirt road towards mountains, turn left onto the farm road marked MB8/MB9/MB10 (if you turn right here you would be going towards Hekpoort), after 200 mtrs on farm road you will see large green gates with horses heads on the pillars (call if gate is locked and nobody comes to open in 3-4 minutes), enter here and drive down to the farm house - reception.

Cancellation Policy

  • If cancelling 7 days before arrival, forfeit 100% of the booking total.
  • If cancelling 30 days before arrival, forfeit 100% of the deposit.

Conditions

We require a 50% deposit to be paid immediately to secure the booking, the balance due is payable a week before you arrive.No cash balance payments are accepted on arrival. There is also an R200.00 refundable Key deposit payable in cash on arrival, which will be held back for minor breakage.

Rates included the usage of water and electricity and daily maid service

Kindly note it is a real farm, so it comes with bugs and farm animals.
